All year as part of our own inbound marketing strategy, you’ve seen us producing plenty of helpful blog articles and downloadable marketing content. The machine never stops at Fusebox, getting ready for the new year so here’s a glimpse of what’s happening behind the scenes at the Fusebox workshop during this holiday season:
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the office,
The inbounders stirred, brainstorming new topics.
Their blog posts were placed on the website with care,
In hopes that new prospects soon would be there.
The keywords were nestled all snug in their posts,
While visions of downloads was what we wished most;
The team on their laptops, and I in the books,
We pondered ‘bout getting leads on the hooks.
Then on social media arose such a clatter,
I sprang to my desk to check out the matter.
And away to the dashboard I flew like a flash,
Clicked on reports and pulled up the stats.
The results on the page had suddenly spiked,
Someone had downloaded content they liked;
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But Retweets and Likes, I suddenly cheered!
With organic search results starting to grow,
I knew in a moment the prospects would flow.
I called to the inbounders – quickly they came,
As I shrieked and hollered and called them by name:
Now David! Now Donna! Now Daphne and Darren!
On Kenny! On Karla! On Kevin and Karen!
To the whiteboard we go! Best bring all the coffee
We need new ideas from our inbounding posse.
We tinkered and pitched new ideas for a bit,
“What can we offer new buyers we’ve hit?”
When finally it came, we knew our direction;
A whole list of content to convert our projections.
With tasks and deadlines and calendars logged,
They went straight to work, churning out blogs;
Our inbounding team, they worked as a whole,
To produce helpful content to help reach our goal.
Daphne wrote copy and David designed,
Landing pages with conversions in mind
Kenny built workflows for offers when triggered
While Donna promoted our content on Twitter.
And just as I wondered oh how will this work?
St. Google blessed us with marketing perks
Traffic increased, it started by double,
Til’ new nurtured leads were sent through the funnel.
Emails flooded from gals and from blokes
Looking to talk to sales about quotes
Leads were converted – clients at last!
Thank you, St. Google for buyers en masse!
The inbounders toiled, all through the day,
And I thought to myself, there must be a way;
To give the inbounders time well deserved,
Of course, automation! Now leads will be served.
With workflows in place and a day to themselves,
They all scurried off like an army of elves:
But I heard them exclaim, as they drove out of sight
New leads for all with content delight!
We wish you and your family all the best this Christmas from the team at Fusebox Creative.
